Firstly, my name is Durrant. I'm a journalist from Kingston, Jamaica. For the past eight years of my life I have been concentrating on school. I'm now doing my Masters at the Mona School of Business, University of the West Indies; I am single and now it's becoming miserable - after all I've been this way for the past three years. Right now I feel that I'm ready to make that bold step but there is no one 2 step with me. :-(
Seriously though, I'm just trying to make a little more room in my life to deal with my personal issues. I'm bored and need 2 go out more and have fun. But as you can imagine, with school it's not that easy though God knows, I know I need the break.
The first thing you will notice about me is that I believe in the value of friendship. Next you will notice that I love animals. I am a patriot who has a deep love for my country and my people. I have decided to remain here in Jamaica despite many of my friends and relatives moving to North America. Ironically, this conviction of mine is influenced by the words of John F. Kennedy of the US: Ask not what your country can do for you... Ask what you can do for your country!"
Family is very important to me; so too are my friends.
There is much more 2 tell but I'll save some for another time. So that's me in a nutshell.
