I believe the TOS is being rewritten.
Not being able to have pictures of pets IS a bit silly

Please let us know when the new Terms of Service get posted. The Terms of Service is a tool used to accomplish Hi5's corporate goals. I'd love to hear from Hi5 Management about what they're trying to do here.

I asked about this close to a year ago. At that time a member of the hi5 crew said it was mostly meant to refer to profile pics.
The fact that it doesn't say that and is just plain silly was not enough to chamge the TOS at that time or since.
Apparently, engineers have no familiarity with the TOS or they woudn't have encouraged and fascilitated the inclusion of personal contact information on the profile page, when the TOS strictly forbids it

Hi Bile,
You can upload photos of your pets, as long as you don't create a profile of your pet ;) Please make sure your main profile photo is of you and not your dog and you'll be fine!
Thanks for asking too, this is an outdated rule. It's not part of the official Terms of Service that members agree to follow...just an old rule on photo uploads that we don't enforce. I had photos of my pets too on my personal hi5 profile (before I lost all my photo albums last week!!!!)
