Horus is one of the greatest egyptians gods with the appearance of a falcon. Son of Isis & Osiris. He was the one who defeated his uncle Seth, the evil. He`s known as a god of the sky, of the light, of the royal justice and power. Horus inherited the thrown of Egypt after his father`s death...

well, some believe that egyptian mythology influenced christinity in forming some depictions n ideas. e.g. isis was very often shown with the little horus on her knees giving her breast. thus, people see similarity in that with the maria n jesus.

hmmm, interesting...i'm trying to learn a more about that myself right now. I'm reading a book called 'The Pagan christ'and so far its fantastic. very respectful of christianity, its written by a pastor, but it still goes into how many elements of christianity are actually not original at all, but originated from Egyptian sources. very interesting topic for me right now...
