Yes i agree! The more we understand about the Universe and our own planet, the bigger the mystery grows!
In spite of all the best efforts by philosophers and scientists , the magic of the Universe goes way beyond our comprehension and I personally feel extremely humble and overwhelmed by its beauty and power!

uhm Adams just one little thing, horsehead is not a planetary nebulae, but still is kind of amazing.

Just some info... Planetary nebula are the result of dyning stars. They were called this by early astonomers cause they looked like gases or rings around planets.

What we are looking at are the effects of a dyning star's energy being expelled outwards against space dust. Which causes the dust to glow. There are billions of these things. In fact most stars end there life this way. In some cases (for large stars) they will go super nova.

uh Max, the planetary nebulas were called that way cause lots of ancient astronomers though they were actually planets... and in fact they look like round shinny mass, but they arent.

Indeed, the fate of our own sun is going to be the same at the end of its nuclear fusion. Our is going to be a very big glowing planetary nebulae, its a shame we wont be here to see that...
